i told my colleague at gouda that i'm so done with going out to big cities as i see the same thing everytime! malls..people going in..taking things from the rack..a quick look on the price tag..frowned..put it back..take another one and frowned again..put it back and move to another rack!
anyway..this place was recommended to me then..it's in a small historical town called oudewater..back in the old centuries, men & women (especially  ) whom suspected to be a witch will be sent (or at their own will) to heksenwaag to be weighed! judgement dia senang..if u're a witch then technically u must have an aneroxic body weight so that u can fly a broom..so if u weigh more than 50kg, u're safe..otherwise, u better run for your life..
selain dari cara ni, ada lagi 2 cara nk determine whether u're a witch or not..hands and feet are tied and you're thrown into the river..if u sink means u're heavy and u're not a witch..if u float then u're damned...another method, u are to walk through fire..if u're in the devil association then not even a single hair of yours will get burnt..so they'll kill u! but if u're screaming your lung out in a struggle to save yourself from becoming a well-done steak , then ok..u're not a witch...
jury's verdict? found guilty, death sentence awaits u...proven innocent, u'll get to clear your name and reputation AND..an honored funeral!

after abis training kat gouda, aku amik coti pi melepak kat rumah nyitte kat leeds..had a wonderful time there..first day sampai aku pi tengok nyitte ngan mbr2 dia lawan bola. team bujang vs team kawen. i'm never a football fan. but this was the first game yg aku tengok dari warming up sampai la abis. gambar2 game nanti la aku upload.
but these photos were taken when we went to york..aku rasa of all 4 days i spent there, this was the best. i like york. very much.

i know some people would probably say, "zoo? what the heck?? kat malaysia tkde zoo ke??"
haha...well, that's what i thought bila opismet aku kata nk pi zoo..but since aku pun belum betul2 'blend-in' dgn diorg before ni, so i took it as the ice-breaking session la..and it worked!
but we were kind of dissappointed with the animals at the zoo..guess they're too pampered! hujan sket pun tak nak keluar! lupa hutanan betul!
by the way, blijdorp means happy village..is it true? dont ask me..

again..my lucky star is shining brightly i guess..another chance to go to the other side of the world..fully sponsored...  though i was there for work but i'd like to think of it as being paid to go for vacation..haha.
i've switched job last april..trying to pile up the list of i'm-just-overemphasizing-to-get-this-job experiences in my resume and for better pay la of course..haha. but still, being a true malaysian or true melayu to be exact, i am grateful to my previous employer for everything they taught me..walawehhhh betul ke aku yg ckp ni?

mendulang emas di pantai mersing

went to lela's hometown at kg. sri pantai, mersing last monday..dapat la pi tengok orang mendulang emas kat pantai...masa ni dah kurang sket..tak seramai masa mula2 diorang jumpa emas tu...believe it or not, kuali kat mersing HABIS disebabkan emas ni...tapi aku rasa yang sebenarnya kaya jumpa "emas" adalah tokeh kuali dan juga peniaga2 yang jual food and beverages sepanjang pesta carik emas ni...
pix were taken using my nokia hp so gambar tak cantik sangat...kalo rok yg amik guna SLR dia sure gambar superb giller..no doubt!
